Paws for a Cause Cape Town is an animal relocation program, which is based in the northern suburbs.
We are directly involved in the upliftment of shelters and living conditions of neglected and abused animals in shelters and townships.
Our aim is to re-home and feed abandoned animals by working with the Uitsig Animal Rescue, FAW, AACL and various other shelters to help accelerate re-homing and ease the pressure on over-capacity.
The prime key problem we find shelters deal with is, re-homing and feeding the large amounts of abandoned and neglected animals on a daily basis. The task ahead is a huge undertaking and is only possible with the generosity of volunteers and donations from people like yourself.
Herve Truniger the founder of Paws for a Cause has build Uitsig Animal Farm their own cattery, dog kennels, ect to help the animals of an overall total of 120 dogs still on the farm yet to get adopted and over 50 cats.
Herve even build an dog trailer for Fisantekraal, Uitsig and other non profitable organizations, so they can bring their animals for the Adoption day held by Herve Truniger Paws for a Cause at Cape Garden Center every second weekend .
Paws for a Cause has helped over 200 animals in the past months to be re-homed to their now forever homes, we do this to give all abandoned, neglected and abused dogs, cats, rabbits and even potbelly pigs a second change at life. We don’t euthanize any of our animals and even though they are at the animal farm we treat them as if they are our own pets.
